About Savant

Savant, according to Definr, is "someone who has been admitted to membership in a scholarly field."

Savant is about learning how to be your best and teaching others. It's about cutting all the unnecessary crap and focusing on what's important. We focus on 10-man instances. (This will become much more relevant in WotLK.) As such, we don't recruit beyond 10 people. These 10 people are flexible, knowledgable, and capable.

Savant is for people who don't mind spending a little outside time learning about their class or learning the fights.

We raid Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6:30 to 10:30. We try to maintain a quick pace. To that end we use the Suicide Kings loot system for speed and even distribution. The loot is handled among three lists, Tier loot, Main loot, and Off loot. Tier loot is for the current tier of gear being worked on, Main loot is for anything that is an upgrade for your main role, and Off loot is for anything that does not go towards your main role.

If you raid with us, you can expect to be benched every now and again, maybe just for a fight. We try to get our members in for every fight they need, but sometimes it just doesn't work out for everyone. I expect you would find this with any raiding guild.
